  • Add lamps to soften the lighting in the room.
  • Break up your monochromatic color by using accent pillows. Pillows are decorative art that you can scatter throughout the room. Find pillows that suit your tastes. Don't be afraid to choose different textures or patterns.
  • Decorate your walls with family photographs. Margi and George believe that personal photos don't belong in rooms where guests will be milling around.
  • Always put a settee or a bench at the end of the bed. This piece will anchor the bed and add dimension to the room.
