The Women's Rights Information Center received an Angel Network award in conjunction with the "Hi Gorgeous!" 2004 tour. The Women's Rights Information Center is a community based nonprofit organization, founded in 1973 in response to the needs of women caught up in a changing society. They are staffed by paid and volunteer professionals who help women help themselves by assisting them in developing the self confidence, job and life skills, knowledge and experience they need to make independent life decisions, to provide for themselves and their families to become productive self sufficient members of society. Clients of their services include single parents, displaced homemakers and workers. They serve mostly low to moderate income populations through many programs and services that help women and their families' progress toward economic sustainability.

  • Office Technology Training
  • Office Support Training
  • Job Search
  • Business Counseling
  • Hispanic Services (English as a Second Language)
  • Educational and practical workshops in a supportive environment
