Oprah's Angel Network has teamed up with three worldwide relief and development organizations that will be working in the area of Arugam Bay and the town of Pottuvil, Sri Lanka and is donating $1 million to help their efforts!
Oprah's Angel Network funds programs that help people rebuild and strengthen their lives. The Angel Network does not take funds designated for a specific project. Free The Children will build and furnish a vocational training center for young people, providing skilled workers to the Arugam Bay/Pottuvil area, teaching them how to support their families.
