The Center for Community Solutions received an Angel Network award in conjunction with the "Hi Gorgeous!" 2004 tour. It is the mission of the Center for Community Solutions (CCS) to create violence-free communities by building bridges between people and to foster a safe, healthy environment for all individuals and families through education, therapeutic services, advocacy and cultural and community services.

CCS provides social, legal and educational services for people affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. For nearly 35 years, CCS has helped to promote violence-free, healthy families and communities by assisting victims and their families to find successful solutions through its intervention and prevention programs. Each year in three locations, CCS assists more than 12,000 men, women and children by providing counseling and therapy services, a Rape Crisis Center, Legal Clinic, and emergency shelter and transitional housing services.

CCS has been often recognized for service, by the Governor of California, the Office of Criminal Justice Planning and others.
