Chicago, IL— Hot-selling superstar boy band the Jonas Brothers have their fervent fans to thank for their visit to The Oprah Show on Thursday, April 24 (check local listings). All in all, Jonas Brothers fans sent nearly 5,000 e-mail requests to the Oprah Show staff, along with posting videos on YouTube and other sites, making the Jonas Brothers the most requested guests this year.On the episode, Oprah tells the Jonas Brothers, "I received thousands of e-mails…thousands of e-mails from your fans begging, pleading to have you guys here…the most for any guest this year." She continues, "They barraged us with their e-mails, started an online petition and even posted their pleas on YouTube." Given the passion of their fans, the Jonas Brothers tell Oprah how they manage to stay grounded despite all the attention. Says Kevin, "Of course, it really is our parents and what they kind of seared into our hearts. We've kind of grown up with the saying, 'Even if you're at the top, live like you're at the bottom.'" Nick also credits the brothers' parents, saying, "They don't let it go to our heads, and we've always learned to stay humble." Adds their dad, Kevin, "We're not raising boys. We're raising men and fathers and husbands. It's very important to us that they can live their dreams, but the first priority is that they're good people."
